I was out riding in a forest and never noticed. Heard about it when I got home. No damage it seems.

After Mrs Oakie, the bike was the first thing I checked. (Yeah, go figure!). Second thing was the cupboard on top of a dresser that currently holds 44 bottles of my preserved fruit ... and that I noticed last weekend I had not made earthquake safe. It was still there and is now bolted to the wall. Funny how some things can motivate you to action.

In the workshop assembling a Busa head - never felt a thing, bit more West than Rolly.

Talking to a resident in an Eastern suburb yesterday. He's just moved back into his rebuilt house - on new floating foundation too...It's not level anymore, about 150mm out he says. Just starting the whole bloody process again with EQC....
Neighbour in another rebuild, same foundation, visibly about 300mm out of level.
Neighbour on the other side, they'd jacked everything up and relevelled it, again now visibly out of level.

This is going to provoke some rezoning and maybe rethinking on foundations I'd guess....

Always leave mine in gear and with the right side of the bike close to something that will break it's fall if it goes that way.

I have strop's hanging from the rafters, each bike gets one on the right side bark buster. It's worked so far.

I just throw my bikes in the shed and ignore them, if they tip over I'll pick them up

Likewise, mine just get parked and have to take their chances with whatever the earth does underneath them, they've all survived alright so far.

That's the only one tied down

Just pulled the rear wheel from the RMX, half the spokes are loose and seized as well so I just need to sort that before I ride it, hopefully I'll get that done before the weekend

Fired it up, smokes like a bastard, little bro said he was running 40-1 where as I mixed 30-1 so I'll sort that out and change the trans oil, might even lube the chain
