There sure is a lot of it about - not that you would know much about it from MSM reporting though!

Heart attacks and/or suicide by shooting themselves in the back of the head multiple times seems to be popular of late.

you mention interesting things. Like how "money" limits this shit. Wait. Thats not interesting. It's ironic.

You also speak as though we actually have a choice/chance against the planet.
"outgrow" it? Please. There is a ballance that will be achieved. Just like the fleas on my ballsacks, there can only be a certain population living comfortably.
"humanity" is fucked enough as is. And since it's likely to be rich folk first, it's unlikely we'd be exporting much humanity anyway.

Okay if you want to be pedantic - Money is a convenient metric to measure Finite things such as Manhours and Resources.

And how is such a balance achieved? either by Internal pressure (War/Social policy) or external Pressure (Pestilence, Geological event, Other). We might not have a chance against the planet at the moment, but people once said that we didn't have a chance against the Colorado River....

When have Rich Folk ever been the first to Colonize a new frontier? Typically the first to go are the desperate, Entrepreneurs, people escaping persecution etc.
