There was some mention that the pit stops had to last for 45 seconds ???? or did I miss hear that ?

Sykes I see went to full slicks and Rea to Inters, which Rea said was a mistake for him.

I think the 45 seconds mentioned was a mandatory 30 seconds stopped and about 15 in the pit lane. As I recall, a year or two ago it was one minute stopped minimum. I guess they can do the changes quicker these days.

The Honda of a couple of years back did not have a quick change setup for the wheels (Penny-pinching)

I actually stayed up to watch the races last night. My boys came round to drink my booze so I figured I'd stay up.
Sofog had an oops which I guess has delayed his 5th Championship ?
Little Johnny did good in the dry, ended up 1 point more ahead at the end of the day.

Superglue will have how many 600 titles now (soon)? They may have to ban him ...

Rea looked well in control of his title hunt. Just cover Sykes and take the opportunities as they come.

STK1000 still has a fight for first.

Heard him called a one trick pony a few times on here. Does the trick very well though!

Sofuoglu did try the big bikes but didn't like them. He has had some awful crap in his life and carried on winning, so if he wants to stick around in Supersport good luck to him. He could be worth a punt to a Moto2 team looking for a rider though?

He had a go in Moto2 a couple of years ago. He was fast, exciting and crashed a lot. He (reportedly) said that he could not get used to how rigid the frame was and kept just stepping over the limit too often. Went back to the superbike paddock and was happy there.

His sidekick/protege Toprak Unpronounceablename is finally showing his talent in STK1000 after injury hit his year. He was eye-wateringly fast in STK600. Won most of the races and won the title with a huge points gap to second.

Nearly at the end of the season now. Roll on next year with a few more class riders (and, hopefully. Mrs Melandri) I hope for no green team dominance....

Julian Simon certainly remembers he tendency to crash.

Not a fan after he attempted to head butt someone for daring to overtake him a few years ago. Dangerous shit at 200+kph.

    Last round Qatar.
Little Johnny Rea, get the bloody points sorted in the first leg and let rip at in the second.
Or go for it in both ,which I'd rather see anyway.

Roll on next year. With luck we will see some good competition. I am afraid the Kawasaki duel leaves me cold. Well done Davies for breaking up the green lovefest.

The STK race was gut wrenching. Imagine how it must feel to have your bike poo itself before the start. All you can do is watch your rival walk his was to the title.

Quite enjoy the STK races ,probably cos its closer to the old Production races.
Got an E mail from a french mate , he was talking about his countryman on the Yamaha,he did well.

Yes on the first sentence, little johnny can walk it in . Nice to see Davies breaking up the duo of greenies.
Not a fan of Sykes myself.

Back to back Champ for Johnny Rea #1 .

Then backed off to gift Sykes points for second.

OK I've watched both the SBK races. Does the Supersport run on Saturday or Sunday because I can't see it?
