Very gappy (if that is the right word). I expected things to be closer at the finish. Looked to be a real 'run wide and lose time' fest.
I found it a bit lacking after the PI races, but probably being tired when I watched caused that. Fingers crossed for race 2.

Looks like I may have spoken too soon WRT Giuliani "chilling out" a bit
He'd have to be one of the last people you'd want at +0... even if he is your team mate.
Hard work at the front but class tells in the end.
Looking forward to the WSS tonight. Will we see the return of Inspector Cluzel and the curious case of Superglue? Last season saw some brilliant close racing, so fingers crossed.
PS: Anyone betting against Rea this year?

Wow! I just watched race 2. Anybody who didn't like that is very hard to please.

WSS was good. Superbike 2 was even better. We need more like this.
The difference between what Rea said post race and his face in Park Ferme was interesting. I expect a cool politeness will prevail in the garage and we may see more good races like this.
Good ride from Davis to be right in touch. How does Lowes get a ride? Everything he touches of late seems to turn to poo.

I thought he had the speed to pull away(Rea), maybe he left it too late, then he did make a couple of errors. Good fighting tho. Rea has to get tougher cos Sykes is prepared to do anything to win.
To me, Rea is better. More corner speed, smoother, faster, nice to watch?
You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..
You're tough. In four races he has had three DNFs: one crash and two mechanicals. The latter two wouldn't seem to be his fault. That R1 is new to racing IIRC but the Yamaha team don't seem to have done their homework as well as the Kawasaki team who also have a new model.
Thinking back though, it did take the Kawasaki bods a season or two to get their ducks in a row.

I am not criticizing Lowes. He just seems to be lacking a touch of the green in the last couple of seasons. He had a few mechanicals with Suzuki. Almost like the Spies curse is still in the air.
