What happened? Didn't see it on Eurosport.

    Ominously dominant victory.

Glad Rea beat Sykes. Not by much though.

Looked like he lost the front on ripple strip. Quite fast corner, on exit.

Damage control turned into a nice second for Rea.
Swagger boy, looked pissed after getting pole and started to ride away, until a Duc caught him.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.

Davies just too good for the Kawasaki boys. Is that Doocati 1299cc ??? (or 2 litres ?).

    Ducati fans will be happy.

Think it's more about Mr Davies. But the Ducati is still cheating with 300cc bigger motor.

That Ducati is certainly a beautiful thing & man it sounds mean.
Chaz Davies certainly has faith in its performance as seen in the passes he made early on....

It's just a 1200, isn't it? The new Panigale is a 1299, but they make an 1199 version for WSBK homologation.

    Any predictions for the weekend?

I would go for the (fairly) safe punts of Rea and Superglue. - How's that for conservative.

Despite wanting Davies and Guintoli to be at the pointy end.

Mr Davies is a machine at the moment. Rae for one win, Chaz for the other.

    Wow! That was exciting.

Sykes needs to calm the fuck down around his teammate. Too much angst.

ETA. just heard Rea in parc ferme "couldn't accept that he'd been passed. He's stupid" Fkin A.

I was lucky to catch the first leg, just happened to check and it was 3 laps in ! Forgot the new two day format.
Hayden inherited a couple of places to get a podium,I was happy to see Rea do the business and to see 'swagger boy' eat it.

After the comment from Rea, will a wall appear in the garage?

A thoroughly entertaining race. I was gutted to see Guinters crash out though. We need a Yamaha in the (already good) mix of bikes at the front.
I was right about VDM and would bet he does the same tomorrow. Too much of a hurry for a home win I think.
