    I didn't hear, "He's stupid". I heard "That's why he crashed."

Can't complain about a lack of drama, bring on the next race.

Mmmmm good result , but I lose interest when its wet or they start doing pit stops or changing bikes.

I listened twice and didn't hear the word stupid, but the comentator said during the second race that the word was definitely used so I stand corrected.

Loved the SS race despite the interruption. The SBK race was interesting rather than exciting but I'm pleased for the crowd - and VdM - that he made it on to the podium.

No problem. What an amazing haul of points for Rea in such treacherous conditions. Sykes must be gutted... 30 points further adrift and getting called a twat on live TV

I don't have a dog in this fight. I'm happy pretty much whoever wins: Rea, Sykes, Davies, VdM, Hayden, whoever. It's a bonus if there's a close race.
Hearing God Save The Queen makes a change from listening to the Spanish national anthem yet again.

    It's all good.

Any predictions for this weekend? Will the usual order reign at Imola?

On the subject of the Spanish national anthem - In superbike (I think) it has been heard once since 2012. The Brit anthem has had a fair flogging though.

Is it a case of "Nobody expects the Spanish anthem"?

"The FIM and Dorna WSBK Organisation must regretfully announce the cancellation of Round 10 of the 2016 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship. After extensive efforts made by all parties involved to come to an agreement allowing the 2016 season to cover a full 14-Round calendar, no accord with any replacement circuit for the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza has been reached. The 2016 final WorldSBK calendar will therefore contain 13 Rounds, as per the document enclosed in the following link."

Would have thought since WSBK have run at Monza for so long it would be an easy process to renew contracts, i wonder what changed this year.

Anyone else nod off during the WSBK races?

Bit shit what happened to Kruma nackers. I mean if he did not cause the red flag, do they have the right to prevent him racing?

He did cause the red flag though. He wasn't aloud to restart because he was black flagged, black flag = immediate disqualification.
Race direction might have been more sympathetic to the appeal if he pulled off the track faster instead of continuing on the racing line even after the race had been red flagged.

Did he though? Looked to me they needed to clear the track of that chaps bike that crashed.

The field had already gone past, would have been quick and easy to move the bike. It's not like they have had to deal with an injured rider like SBK SP2.
Race direction also said it was due to track conditions.

I confess that I did (briefly) fall asleep during both SBK races - Old age does that...

I was well awake during the support races though. I agree that Kruma nackers was a bit unlucky. If he had pulled off () when he got the flag he would have been able to restart after the red flag - not that he knew that at the time.

The Sykes versus Rea battle was always pretty tense... but yeah bit snoozy other than that.

What about Camier on the MV? Ride of the weekend apart from Chas of course.

Rea doesn't look totally happy on the ZX10R. Fishtailing out of that corner with both legs at 45 degrees was fairly dramatic. Slamming into the seat unit at warp factor 9 with both testicles probably crossed his eyes up for a lap or two
