It's a franchise organisation. Buy one and change the trend, or suck it up.

Because when you advertise for a job that has limited prospects, low wages, high risk and no educational requirements that is more than half of what shows up.
Take out the stoners and you are left with roughly the ethic mix you see behind the counter.

I advertised 2 roles when I was running a convenience store in Auckland.
130 applications later (I had to call in reinforcements from other stores) I hired 3 and the other mangers hired 15 or so.
We got applications from 2 nz citizens.
No surprise then that 16 Indians / Pakistani and others from that region got hired that day?

Both of the NZ citizens came with excellent references, superior educations (and current uni students) were well spoken and presented.
Neither lasted a whole year before getting a job that earned 2 times the money.

Hearing you. My last role was managing a branch of a retail chain and trying to get good people on what I was allowed to pay was a nightmare at times. I actually felt embarrassed when I told them what the hourly rate was. And the beancounters wondered why we had service issues.

I'm concerned for The Motor Company. Under NZ trading laws they could get done for false advertising if a customer purchased one expecting it to perform like it's title..................

Honda were OK on this with that scooter they produced called the Joker........

My Ducati is called a Streetfighter - but in six months of ownership I've never seen it in a street brawl. Mind you it gave my bank account a good punch and it's still in ICU.

    Cars have even stupider names.

    WHY?

I'm saving that one for later. Can't use the Gay Honda response as I owned my Hornet for 8 years!
