Highlands National Motorsport Museum - Cromwell

Mrs Oakie and I camped in Cromwell (Central Otago) for 6 nights last week and found this place attached to the new racing complex they have there. Some pretty impressive machinery in what is overall, a pretty impressive complex. http://www.highlands.co.nz/
Well worth the $25 for admission.

Managed to fill it in thanks John. We had a trip to Q'town planned for the Wednesday and drove up to Luggate for lunch at the old pub on Thursday so that broke the time up nicely. Also had some excitement on the Thursday night when what we took to be a stray rifle round whizzed over our tent ... followed by another one twenty minutes later. And remember ... I lived in Twizel for 15 years.
