The other "allies" produced Shermans and the British ones are barely worth a mention...ok Churchills, Matlidas and later on the Comet ( which was quite good).
Post war they had " the bomb" so could spend more on quality.

Myth.. the T-34s at Kursk burned in bulk, like hot-cakes in the care of a paralytic drunk.

It was the Soviet anti-tank defence-in-depth, plus ol' Adolf losing his nerve when the West just then invaded Sicily,
& so he sent his SS Panzers West to stiffen the deal, same thing happened again at D-day, & let the Soviets off the hook..
