Not that I doubt that's what the source was. Mainly because the graph itself is credited to that world renowned mathematician Max Roser, the very same guy that produced the graph I originally referenced. In fact I'd say the chances are that it's been pulled from that exact site.

And actually you're right, your graph shows 2009 Gini at 32.3, the original shows 2009 Gini at 32.9.

That sort of thinking is predicated on you already having made a decision for society, namely, that those who contribute more (I've already agreed contributing to a basic level should be a prerequisite but not a scalar) should get more of a say in how it is run. How should society actually decide if that should be the case or not?
