It's actually more serious than that. This will upset every muslim in the world including the 500 million or so in SE Asia. It also has more potential to unite the various factions in the arab world than any peace plan could have done. They would all be united in their anger at the Western world and the antipathy may not be restricted to Trump or the USA.

I'm fucked if I know. I just got into a highly charged discussion with a friends elderly Jewish mate. Rather predictable, my family all died in the Holocaust, I lived in a ghetto etc etc (he must be a bloody sight older than he looks then) when really I am honestly worried that Israel is doing that right now to the Palestinians and this whole thing is lining up a final solution (that was the phrase he got snotty about) to get rid of them... The vehicle to achieve that might actually be a war with Iran although I don't think the USA wants that...
What really worries me is the lining up of US, Israeli and Saudi foreign policy. Fuck me they have just about become and axis of 'if not quite evil, not exactly nice either'...
As per usual if you criticize any thing pro Israel you are accused of being an anti semite and despicable... Pretty well the alt rights main tactic to divert debate on issues and belittle and insult the opposition...
