He may be good or bad but sure as shit he has given the professional politicians a huge fright.

40-200 million is a more consistently used figure/s from what I have found on the subject. Bit rough to inflate his net worth and not his starting capital anyway

And even if it was 'just' 1 million, it is still a fuck ton of money, and even more so when you consider it was over 30 years ago! Plus he was still clipping the large salary ticket etc. He's obviously not completely useless but he's not the business mastermind he claims to be.

As to giving politicians a fright, it's more frightening that all the options and alternatives are so bad that he has even made it this far.
