Actually it still happens at our workplace... but there and other places its more of a fashion choice than a meaningful discussion.
People like to attach themselves to who they think is the winning team, eg all blacks supporters, warriors er not the warriors etc lol...
It was the same with Obama, people were like awwww ohhhh a successful black guy, hes going to save america.... what has he really done...

At our highly unionised workplace people loudly support Labour no matter what their policies might mean for our industry of the greater good of the country and livign standards etc Never mind that the business has grown massively under 6-9? years of john key (love or hate him)....

Remember when people never used to care about USa elections, it was barely news here. Now its just part of the entertainment fodder called news. And the media is full of opinion pieces instead of actual unbiased reporting.
One thing thats not ebing noticed, is what do you call a country political system when there is only two actual voting choices and the media is saying only vote for this guy. Where people get ridiculed for supporting a particular candidate...
Aside from Obama if hillary clinton gets in it will be 30 years of two families running america....

I dont care about the outcome as the POTUS is never really in charge, but Trump is the only one who has said what he will do to change or fix the country. Hillary is the status quo puppet for the war hungry corporates that have USa in debt to 14 trillion, over extended military campaigns, mass poverty and unemployment...

You have to ask why was Trump the medias darling with that dragon den tv show and other stuff and now suddenly he is a woman groping nutter? With americas libel alws why has none ever chased this rich man, it would be an easy out of court big payoff....
