They should all be arrested but will probably just receive a strongly worded letter. The Sergeant at Arms has been instructed to take action. They may have damaged their promotion prospects though as this behaviour should have a negative effect on any future security clearance.

Exactly, what Schiff is trying to do is not legal because the Republicans on that committee have as much right as he does to hear any testimony as they do. Which is why the republicans just barged in on it and Schiff couldnt do anything but run away like a stray dog.

But im right that Republicans have just as much right as those democrats that are on the same committee on oversight to hear that testimony.

The odd thing is Austin, I'm not butt hurt at all, and due process as stated ion US laws are being followed. I'm sure you would not even blink if it was a Democrat President was being impeached.
Just relax man, if the Republicans disagree, they will repeal in the senate. also part of the law/Impeachment process.

To that extent you are absolutely right, and there are 45 Republicans sitting over the three committees and they are hearing all the evidence, and they are asking their own questions.

The dems are only using this closed door hearings so they can eventually leak more out of context bullshit just like when they went after trump for that ukraine phone call and then he released the transcript and blew schiff and all these other idiots out of the water.... yet schiff still went on to make shit up anyway.

The "hearings" are being held behind closed doors. Then someone is leaking hand picked "facts" to the media. So either the hearing is confidential and the dems call out there own for leaking. Or they make it open to ALL members of the house and the media.

This is an impeachment inquiry.

Police investigations are usually private. Grand Juries are normally secret. Congressional impeachment inquiries are similar.

Trials are normally public. The Senate Impeachment Trial would be public - if that's the outcome of the inquiry.
