Unfortunately misinformation has been the norm long long before any recent elections - the advent of the internet has exposed just to what extent!

the biggest reciprent of US aid is actually Afghanistan The planned amount of American aid for in 2017 is $4.7 billion.
Israel comes in second among U.S. aid recipients, with a planned disbursement of 3.1 Billionin 2017, according to U.S. government statistics. Jordan is third at $1 Billion.
Total US aid is less than 1% of it federal budget.
The majority of the US aid goes to its stategic allies.
