Dems are stupid enough to try and carry it on until the next election. They have nothing else in their play book. Babbling on about Ukraine just keeps Biden and sons shady dealings in the spot light.

The one I saw reported as saying that is in a very dodgy electoral situation and he doesn't want to offend the Republican voters. Being that they are R voters it's probably a lost cause anyway.

You obviously haven't read his profile. Top left of his postings. I've ridden with him a few time in group KB rides years back. I'm guessing he has the same last name as me. May be even a long lost cousin on my fathers side. Granddad was a bit of a womanizer you see.

It's a ridiculous situation. It is no better anywhere else in the world either. Somewhat ironically, the voters, R or D, are the only thing that aren't a lost cause. "We" simply have nothing to vote for but the illusion of choice. The outcomes are all but predictable, because they are economic, not political. Irony being, "they" waste billions trying to coerce pople in their own country to vote for them, but tell the rest of the world to fuck off as if the rest of the world isn't going to be affected by the outcome... not to mention their somewhat chequered past when it comes to interfering in with the affairs of governments around the globe. It is all so very predictable. The only thing that isn't, is the voter. I barely read about it anymore, because the story doesn't change and has been mirrored throughout history.

The politics of the present are here to defend the economic decisions made in the past. That's why no party focuses on the people. They're too busy firefighting their position to be of any use to anyone. I can't remember the senator that said it, but he said something along the lines of: "I remember that 95% of my day spent on the phone or in meetings with the electorate. These days I spent 95% of my time on the phone to donors.". They know what's happening, but can;t do anything about it because politics no longer belongs to the people, it belongs to economics.

Funy how Dems loved the Electorial Collage untill Trump won. Hollywood was up his arse until he chose to run for the presidency. He always said if he ran he'll run as a Rebublican being a life long Democrat and all.

Why are donors even allowed? It's bullshit. Donors and politicians that accept donations need to be lynched. Not necessarily literally lynched.

I reckon Trump was approached to run. To what end I dunno... but I doubt wanting to be president was on top of any list whilst he was eating breakfast the day it happened.

Because that's how it has always worked. Getting donors out into the open and setting "rules" surrounding donations isn't a bad idea when you're publicising that which already exists. It still isn't a fool proof way of getting policy out to the electorate... but the alternative to donors is that "we", the people who elect governments, fund it through taxation whilst the donoring carries on without needing to adhere to any form of "rule". It is bullshit, but that's the way it has always been and why removing such would simply see more money evaporate from government.

It ain't overly nice to consider, but the money will come from somewhere to fund the champion du jour no matter the measures put in place to prevent it.

I'm inclined to think the same. He appears to have some very professional people covering his back. I'd imagine exposing Obumas administrations under the table antics is one reason. Obama was far more autocratic than Trump has ever been despite the MSM naitive to the contrary. He pulled a great move by inviting independent journalist, from both camps, in to the White House leaving MSM out in the gardens. When the meeting was finished and going out side and telling MSM to fuck off out of the seats and get behind the barrier.

Obama signed a gizillion Executive Orders in his last few months of office. Trump is reversing them.

Obama, like Trump, were/are just doing what they're told to do. I'm curious as to who is doing the reversing and why... coz usually those who start those sorts of wars never lose them.

Trump has talked of running for years, there was certainly time to run an FBI check on him. He applied for a casino licence in Australia but the application was declined because of his mob connections. President of the USA? No problem.

The basic salary of a US Senator is US$174,000 pa. The same person will receive millions from the NRA, AIPAC, big pharma, the insurance companies, the for-profit prisons etc etc. It's highly unlikely they are working for the people paying the $174,000, the taxpayers. Most of the US politicians are bought and paid for. The suggestion has been made that they wear sponsorship labels on their suits like racing drivers (or MotoGP riders). Voters could then see who the politicians were actually working for.

The electoral college has determined the outcome in two of the last five elections, both times to Republicans (43 & 45). To say the Dems liked it until 2016 is uninformed.

Social media is heavily populated by bots and trolls, such as those operating out of the IRA in St Petersburg. There are several 'tells' one of which is bad spelling, English is their second language after all. Their spelling though is great compared to some of the Trump fans here. Funny, the US Trump cult members can't spell either.

The ONLY way you can currently win a US election in the US IS the Electoral Collage you Dingbat. The US Constitution would have to be ammended to change that.

    Yiou are the misinformed one.

Now that you have learnt something new can you please stop peddling your obvious bull shit.

So you haven't ignored me at all pritch. Oh goody my really first real live internet stalker.

If you really took any notice of political trends in America (and the world) you would be aware that to win an election you have to suck up to all the Jewish pressure groups and pledge allegiance to Israel.

You don't have to be Anti-Semitic or racist to come to that conclusion - simply watch MSM and TV news etc and there it is - hidden in plain sight for all to see - over and over and over and over! -

My mum talked of being PM too, as have many celebs that haven't been PM. I don't really care who he is, nor much about his history, as he is as irrelevant as Obama. May as well have Miss Piggy, not Clinton, doing the job for all the difference it would make.

It's expensive to run a campaign. Not many can afford it without supporters... and who better to receive donations from than those who wish support you, especially as you are going to represent them and their views whilst they go out and do good works in the economy? I prefer the "ledger" over the ruining of clothing for advertising purpose .

Did I agree or say something regarding the electoral college? Coz I didn't.

There are several tells that human beings haven't got a clue what they're talking about. I know people who can't read or write that make sense and exceptionally well read and written people who haven't got a fuckin' clue. They usually project that bad grandma and smelling pisstakes etc... actually say something about the cognitive ability of any given individual. Truly a cosmic irony.

The quote "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win” comes to mind.

We are in the "then they laugh at you stage" at the mo.

Being obviously devoid of facts the Bozos will start the third stage momentarily. Ignoring OABs warning of of course. They are that thick.
