I see that the idiot in chief has ordered the navy to "shoot down" any Iranian boats that are bothering them. Perhaps this is a ploy to drive up oil prices? Or an attempted distraction from his abject failure to provide any positive form of leadership during a pandemic.

The French have concluded a trial of Chloroquine as a treatment for Covid 19. More patients died when prescribed Chloroquine. Nobody warned me about this possible side effect when I was given Chloroquine.

Think that you can safely say that the current US action in the Persian Gulf is all about oil prices, and seeing if it can provoke Iran into some reckless move (that could end up with reduction in oil volumes being shipped, with corresponding increases in crude oil price). The Iranians will have already seen through this ploy.

Don't worry unduly. China has recently been receiving attention; currently it is Iran's turn, and it should be Venezuela's turn in about a fortnight.

More likely a response to Iran putting military satellites into space.
