cheers Owl, you know or seen the pirellis on sale at Honda shop Palmy , might be old stock but they are only about 300 bucks a set ? don't even know if they are multi compound ?

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

Yeah the Pirelli deal is everywhere I think and covers the 180/55-120/70 Diablo set. AFC have different wording where you buy the rear and get the front free, because everyone wants something free lol. I believe the 190/55 is extra, but not a set I'd fit to the KTM.

Scrubbed in a set of those Pirellis yesterday ($299 too good to miss ? with a 190 for the rear in that price.)
Got a new WOF as well and the tester at VTNZ said I'd done 4000 kms in the last 12 months !!!!
Will tune in with how long the tyres last, but man new rubber feels sooooo good !

S22 went on front along with a T31 on the back for my SI tour. S22 rear went on yesterday, I bought all 3 at once and got a decent discount. T31 goes under house for next tour November.

But as I slink up stairs at TSS S22 pair $422. Gahhh! Oh well.

If it's not raining I'll try out the pair for the first time in the weekend. Supposedly easier turn in. I wont be recording mileage as that bores me. At least this time my brand new sport tyres didn't have to go 2600km on SI roads with panieers which starts s flat section early.

Can't say I'm overly impressed with the longevity on the S22 and I'm going back to the S21, stocks permitting.

    Stocks wont permit.

I'm enjoying my 22s. But not enough ks to question mileage. Not that I really take note.

You may be right. Ordered an S21 front off Moto1 through TM and they've sent me the 22.

Had a spirited ride from Tiehappy over gentle-annie and they felt very confidence inspiring esp near the top where it is tight as and steep. Fun.
