With rising ACC costs, insurance, maintenance , and a recent pay cut at work I can't afford to run this bike anymore. Hence I'm selling it.

The VFR 800 is famous for being one of the greatest, well-rounded, and reliable motorcycles ever made. Look at reviews if you don't believe me.

22L Fuel Tank, gets about 6L/100KM due to the fun and economical VTEC system.

Top speed of 240KM/H. Corners quite well for a heavy bike (240KG wet weight).

Have owned her for the past year and only done 6'000KM. Serviced at City Honda Palmerston North.

    Last Service: @ 52-KM 23/06/2015

New Fork Seals @ 55-KM in January this year.

    Added Extras:

    -K&N Air Filter
    -Front Paint Protector
    -Front Fender Extender
    -Rear Hugger
-Gutted Exhaust (for a throatier sound, done professionally at Manawatu Mufflers)
-Oxford Oximiser 900 (for maintaining battery over winter)
    -Tinted aftermarket windscreen
    - Haynes Manual
    - Spare engine (for parts, if you want it)
    - Spare exhaust (for returning the bike to it's factory sound)

I have never had any troubles with the bike. Slight scuffing on the right-hand side due to a stationary drop from a previous owner.

The asking price of $5500 includes the full Givi Pannier and Top-Box system including keys and spares. I'm willing to drop the price to $5000 without it. Alternatively I can supply a Givi Pack-Rack frame for $100 - BYO bag.

I'm willing to ride this anywhere in the country to deliver it to your door providing full payment has been made and you cover all relevant expenses including my return (I'm happy with a bus ticket).

Can be viewed in Linton Military Camp, Palmerston North.

Don't be gay - keep it. You can put rego on hold and send the wife out to work ....

Once it is gone you'll never get one back.

Aye, amongst other things I'd love to keep this bike.

However it has now sold to a lovely gentleman (who is also a forum member) who will take good care of her. He's also offered to let me ride it once a month!

    Top bloke.

    Cheers guys
