    Cleaning tyres

Just want to know what you use to clean tyres without making it unsafe. Like tyre paint or any sprays?

Why would you need to clean your tyres?

Rag/brush and some hot water, that's all the cleaning they need. Just don't use any spray of any sort on your tyres in an attempt to make look good.

Soapy water and a sponge, then rinse thoroughly. If you're serious about tyre paint or dressing, then I'd seriously suggest you sell the bike and buy a Corolla...

I clean my tyres with brakleen on a cloth and wipe tread. Only do it after fitting tyres and it's nothing to do with making them look pretty.

    Question

To the above posters who don't wash....

What happens when you wash your bikes? do they get wet? or when you ride in the rain? do they get wet? is that dangerous?

Read and listen to the above posts Swivel, the rest just question your question and offer no advice.

Wash the bike first with plenty of soapy car wash hose off.
When dry on the side walls a little black nugget with a brush ,buff to a shine .
Don't do the tread and do not use silicone .
