you will never, ever, get back what you paid for shit. listing the RRP of the accessories makes you look delusional and not a little bit hopeless.

Was going to say this, but in a nicer tone.

Good idea to list the items themselves, but their retail prices don't mean much.

True. Probably could have broken it to him gently.

I like to modify and add goodies to my rides. I keep all the stock parts removed to reinstall when selling the bike. Flick off the goodies on TM usually.

Stuff like pipes, heated grips help sell a bike and are good to leave on it. The rest tends to be personal.

Tyres - who gives a shit what you paid for them - how old and what tread depth is all that is important.

    Nice ride BTW.

I don't believe the seller is trying to recoup the money spent on the bike, merely stating what he has done/added to the bike.

I sold a six year old bike once for $9k and had spent just over $4k in the year prior to selling, market value for the bike was perhaps a thousand to fifteen hundred lower than what I got. Ten Thousand for this bike in that condition with low k's is not out of the question, it's top end sure but someone may be willing to pay that amount.

    Welcome back to KB

Thanks for the great feedback guys. I forgot about the great people on KB :P

The reason for listing the extras to show that it has a lot of small accessories. Not looking to get the money back for them.
My hope is to make my bike stand out from the market.
If i was personally buying a bike and one had all these accessories and one didnt, i know i prefer the one with accessories (assuming both in similar condition in other aspects). Even if it was few hundred bux extra for the bike.
I always end up spending money on the usual accessories anyway. So good chance to save some money.
The arrow exhaust is something special though. The sound and weight reduction alone are worth it.
Again not asking for extra money, but hoping it stands out.
I have a journal of all the money i spend on the bike, accessories, maintenance etc. No harm in listing the costs. Thats what i thought.

I was in the market for a similar bike recently, and I would have paid somewhere close to $10k for this one, looks like a good bike.
