So you've tried the other coil to see that that one is OK or duff too? They have a habit of rec reg units dying which creates a runaway voltage level and that fries the CDI so beware 2nd hand units.
Yesterday we got a friends one running for first time in 11 years.
Don't you look at my accountant.
