Given the thread title, I was expecting to read something Nick Willis like.
Hmmm I don't get the reference. Has he turned out to be another Mark Todd or something?
When I looked at the clip again Martin's choice of bike struck me as interesting.
I'd like Indian to give me a Scout too but I'll pass on riding that wall thanks.

Can't see the video but riding the wall is easy from what I've been told. Geoff Mardon got roped into it by his father in law Les Moore who had the one you saw at all the fairs in the 50's. He reckoned once you could see the line you wanted it became easy.
After that of course, it was just a matter of dodging the rest of them on the wall - including a sidecar outfit that Les and Ronnie used - usually with a passenger in the chair too.
At the end it says Guy Martin sponsored by Triumph - jet clearly a new Scout in the middle of the wall of death.
Either way - looking forward to it
It is kinda easy...ish
I had a go on the hells angels wall of death many many years ago in Palmynorth (Got offered a go...who could honestly say no to that??)
Only crashed once getting the bike OFF the wall
Thats the only hard parts really...getting up, and getting down off the wall...the round and round gets ya a tad dizzy...but its fun and feels rather safe once going(that dismount tho
...can get tricky)
If ya get the chance...leap at it!, its truly one of my personal "thank fuck I went for it" memory's![]()

...I lean into it!

For anyone still suffering withdrawal from the lack of racing while the northern hemisphere dudes enjoy their summer holiday. Guy Martin is at Bonneville with a Triumph streamliner for a world record attempt.
