    KTM 690 Duke R - autodecompressor

So after thinking/knowing a dodgy starter motor and repairing that fault (Positive terminal to brush connection was shot/poor design), I threw the starter back on, spins nicely but wouldn't turn bike more than once. Tried jumping to give it a bit more cranking power should the battery be faulty...... and then replaced the battery... Still wont turn bike over more than once, can bump start with starter/rolling combo with ease which adds weight to the decompression line of thought.

Now thinking it is the decompression spring

Can anyone give me a ballpark on what this would cost the shop to repair? Or how hard it would be to fix? Without trawling to far through the manual I guess I need the engine out.

    Hmmm

I take it the rocker bearing should not move like this when the cam moves slightly due to the decompressor.
