sweet as , i am confused thats why i came here haha , im a learner so im learning what i can on my shitter before i get a bigger one, one day ....

head gasket was previously already sealed by someone else . just cleaned it off and resealed it ....

im just confused because the gasket seal doesnt touch the water feed to go in , plus the gasket seal is to seal the head and the seal was bad so i gasket sealed it back to what i thought a gasket seal would be .... it is a 250 , there isnt any holes it would cover up or anything , just the seal around the outside and then 2 seals where spark plugs are .....

    god im so confused .....haha

Sounds like you're possibly talking about the rubber tappet cover gasket my friend.

Take the tube out of the recovery bottle and put it in a see through bottle 3/4 full of water making sure the end of the tube is submerged. Run the engine and see if any bubbles come out of the submerged end of the tube. If they do, then chances are you have a blown head gasket.

if it is the head gasket ..................................

a head gasket replacement requires abit of work,
not mega difficult but hard enough the first time

a broken exhaust stud can be a pain .

    find yourself a manual,
if your prepared to do it yourself take your time,
maybe find someone local who can help
you will need a torque wrench to tighten the head down
get it wrong and you bend valves

    clean everything!!!!
you will need a new head gasket and most likely exhaust gaskets
and the head will most likely need skimmed

plastic fabricator/welder here if you need a hand ! will work for beer/bourbon/booze

If it is in fact the head gasket, or possibly some other gasket on the head by the same name

Reckon I could have done the gasket in less time than trying to figure out where the confusion is coming from.

Which hasn't done anything to fix the original problem...

Which I can't even, so maybe the OP should post a summary, with a picture or two; then go from there.

yea im learning , so if ppl have an issue with the laying out ive answered stuff with , ill get you a tissue .....

but yea i thought about the air pocket situation , but ive emptied it and refilled a number of times , running it while filling each time ( because hoses blew out ) , so i dont think its that , ill just have to order a head gasket and fingers crossed if it fixs the issue ,

i will update what the problem was when ive done it all ,

    thx guys

I don't need a fuckin tissue you smug little upstart, but I'm sure if you watch a utube clip on how to do a head gasket you will nail it no problems first time, if it is actually the head gasket.
