WCC transport review and PTWs aren't even mentioned as an option

I quoted that Belgian study re 10% increase in PTW's gives 40% reduction of congestion.

Perhaps your suggestion didn't fit with the preordained conclusion...

I actually laughed this morning when I heard that new slogan, "Get Wellington Moving". For a city on a fault line that's tempting fate.

It's a term coined by a uni graduate to cover a broad range of vehicles.

Well no, because that's not a legal vehicle for use on the road.

Let's just pause for a second here. The OP was mentioning the lack of discussion in the WCC transport review of mopeds, scooters , tourers, adventure bikes, sports bikes, Harleys, etc..... The thread has then focussed on the key issue, how we should be labelled, and that the person labelling it has spent 4 years getting pissed in late teens / early 20s.

Just a random thought, is there a connection to why the infrastructure for 'powered two wheelers' of all creeds is lacking when an attempt to engage on the issue turns into a scene from 'the Life of Brian'.

I suspect the 'drongo' has probably retired as the term has been in use for at least 25 years.
