    Speedo query

I can't figure out why the speedo on the Tiger is showing 4215 km when clearly it showed 16060 kms when I listed it for sale two months ago. The battery did go flat and I put it on charge for a day but everything else is reading as it once was. Trip 1 Trip 2 /Kms until empty/ Ltrs per km etc.
Took it for a warrant this morning and 4215 shows for a few seconds when the dash first lights up, so whats going on here?

I normally have K's left until empty on display when riding.

Is it the countdown to the next service interval? Or that much overdue from the last? When you flick the display through to odometer, does it also show 4215km?

Generally the odometer can't be reset (even if the battery goes flat) but you will lose trip.

Ahhhhh more than likely now that you mention it, still can't access/find the correct speedo reading though, which is why I thought it had been somehow been altered to 4215.

NB: Turn key on and it reads ODO 4215 so that must be the true kms? where I got the 16060 in the first place I am not sure.
NNB: The current Odometer reading of 4224 is correct.
