Thread: Front fork bottom screw?

    I made a tool from two bolts connected together, see pic (no welder at the time so had to resort to alt ways of locking threads). The internal damper fits a 19mm bolt head (the long bolt). Insert this into fork damper to lock it while unscrewing the cap screw. Works fine, but will probably add a T handle. Whole lot cost about $20 from a bolt shop.

    I guess you could use threaded rod with a nut and a couple of tack welds. Or just weld the top of a 19mm bolt onto a bar.
