    Photos from Wairarapa Sprints

    Wairarapa Sprints 25 September 2005.

Here's a few of the pics I took today.

A nice one of Deano's blurring acceleration.
Also, Tony Sampson entertaining the crowd with a nice wheelie!

Will post some more when I've developed them.

What a ripper stretch of road. Tony's bike sounded particularly good, IMO.

    [B].
    .

    Tony was flying.

On his second flying run the timing gear played up and didn't stop when he passed the finish line. His first run was 4.82 which equated to average speed of 298.75kph. He would def have broken the 300kph barrier on his second run, as he was doing 500rpm more, and you could tell he was slightly faster. On his third run the wind had gotten up a bit and he did a 4.83.

Results will be posted on the website (www.cdd.co.nz if I remember correctly). It sometimes takes Peter a few days to get the results up, just keep a watch on it.
