Sorry I'm no kiwi but have heard it is one of the best countries in the world? My name is Gil and I discovered this forum a while back when researching current two stroke technology and found the gigantic bucket racers thread with too much good information (over 1000 pages!!!) from many masters of the 2t tuning art, not to mention a few grandmasters.
I first rode a real moto bike when I was about 7 but remember longing to ride before that but couldn't since my cuz's policy was, "you can ride it, when you can start it"
From then to now I've ridden a wide variety of bikes, but two stroke street bikes were/are my favorite. Unfortunately politics has gotten in the way of providing a good variety of 2t bike options for folks like me in the west.
I'm preparing to embark on a fresh barely streetable build of an little old machine incorporating some of the knowledge found in this forum.
Will be lurking and learning for now but hope to contribute and make good company with some of y'all in the future.
