As did I. Road racing can be a nasty game.
One real frustration with the BBC coverage - as Jellywrestler said - is the lack of any timing and position info, as well as the pinhole view of riders. In the helicopter shots you may see one rider and not know who or where he is.
As an aside. The closing speed they get in a slipstream is dramatic. One minute you have a reasonable gap then nek minnit someone steams past you at a horrific rate of knots.![]()
The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear tight underpants.
