    Is flashing a Busa ECU a home job?

    Can I flash a Busa ecu with the right cable and software? Or is that a take it to somebody job?

    What year Busa? from memory the yosh box i bought for the TL many moons ago does the early Busas.

    The 2nd Gen Busa runs just fine in stock trim, despite what many of the US forums suggest. Unless you've got radical (expensive) ideas on induction or exhaust changes...or heading for the track or strip...spend your money on other improvements is what I'd say.

    To do the job properly you'll need a dyno and a method of reading the oxygen content in the exhaust.

    You can tinker with it at home, taking a few degrees out here and there, adding more fuel here and there.

    But my solid advice is to get it dyno tuned by an experienced engine tuner.

    TRE unit is cheap, and you can trick the fan switch easily.
