Another angle on BREXIT? - (Good old Nigel features in this one too - who does he really work for?)

Brief interview of economist Hans Herman Hoppe regarding nature of EU

    excerpt:
What do you predict, then, will be the future of the EU?

The EU and the ECB are a moral and economic monstrosity, in violation of natural law and the laws of economics. You cannot continuously punish productivity and success and reward idleness and failure without bringing about the disaster. The EU will slide from one economic crisis to the next and ultimately break apart. The Brexit, that we have just experienced, is only the first step in this inevitable process of devolution and political decentralization.

    Article from Independent:

A lot of it sounds way nearer than the other side of the world.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

That article sort of parallels this one: https://medium.com/@theonlytoby/hist...714#.s3qphokq8 . One the face of it, quite disturbing with light at the end of the tunnel because of people muddling through. Trouble is, with the world so intertwined these days, it's hard to dodge the fallout.

Hmmm....depressing reading. Trumph will probably be POTUS by end of year due to the BREXIT effect, Germany and Francemay start to turn on refugees and Russia could try a land grab.
Do we still go where England goes?

Might put off buying that Thruxton R

Yeah, I saw an article by Michael Moore that reckons that Trump is a shoe-in, not because he's the best candidate but because people are so disaffected that they want to shake up the Establishment. Part of me wants to see Trump in, just to see what happens

Regarding England, I was born and educated there but moved here in '75 when they effectively raised two fingers to the rest of the Commonwealth. We had to go it alone and are the better for it for moving out of England's shadow. Be friends with them, trade with them if it's of advantage to us but there's no way they're ever going to be Big Brother again.

Haha - I'm still mulling over a Bonnie 1200 as a replacement for the Suzuki. Might hang on a bit too

I was pro stay. But the votes done and they should all be concentrating on moving forward and looking for positives rather than talking themselves into a deeper recession. A free EU, USA and China trade deal would be the best of both worlds. Thank god Turkeys chances of joining the EU have waned.

NZ & AUS will be able to stay in the uK for 2 years and not be subject to the EU restrictions. Free Trade deals with AUS, NZ, & USA will be more than enough.

The markets are presently absolute heaven for the traders. The more ups and downs, the better for them to get very very rich.

    That's all it is.

The German people are paying the price for Merkels niavety. Wouldn't surprise me to see a push from the German people for more border and immigration controls. Britain wanting border control wasn't about stopping native Europeans from traveling for work, it was about being forced to give the same benefits to fresh migrants and refugees.

You can stick a New Zealander/Brit/Spaniard/German family in any country in Europe and they will get along just fine with the local populace. Throw some extreme beliefs/up bringings and that all changes. It's not racism it's a fact- I struggled living with the Middle Eastern culture.

    Interesting - Published on 26 Jul 2016

Tommy Robinson - the most "hated" or bravest man in Britain, discusses the beheading of a French priest in Normandy, as well as the "religion of peace" and how Europe is being culturally enriched by millions of Muslim migrants.
