As we rode past straight past the BIG SIGN that pointed left and said Ashley Gorge I was wondering where we were going as the road we headed up gives you the option of turning around and coming back the same way or riding Lees Valley (50-60km of shingle) it quickly became very obvious that the guy (who shall remain nameless but who has just bought a new Guzzi ) didn't know where he was going
Look Kickaha.............. the unnamed Guzzi rider was more than happy to take my 'brand new' Guzzi on a 60k ride through shingle, river crossings and to a alttitude of 300m and finish up with a shingle slide back down the other side of Lees vally...... not my fault you soft cock Japp riders cant handle a little adventure.

....hmmm ya think the xj would make it? With amount of smoke it puts out you might get the bush rangers in thinking it was a bush fire

Nobody is worth waiting around for an hour for. Not when you could be out riding.

of course it would make it and it only uses a litre of oil for every 1000km,I'd bet I wouldn't see any Buells or Guzzis around there though

I'm keen to do that ride again.
But I think I will be taking the LC4 and not the Guzzi.
But we did have a guy ride XV1000 over the Okuku Pass with us.

Yeah I think that's his name.
That was his last ride on that bike, as he now has a new bike and said that it will not be going over the pass.
