Cheers guys and gals for a great first KB ride, good to meet people. Pity I had to take off early from pub for work, but will stick round longer next time. Might have to upgrade to a tidier bike me thinks, everyone elses was so nice and new looking.

Um, lets see.... as soon as I got home mention was made -quite loudly- of the time period "five and a half hours". Admittedly for 1.5 hours of that I was sat on me arse waiting for a WOF. And then we spent a fair amount of time ... erm... helping out. So the actual ride time would have been more like 3 hours. But we all ride for enjoyment- for me personally it is a fantastic stress reliever- but yesterday after making 17 people wait for nearly an hour and then coming home to a grumpy wife I was actually quite depressed.

Anywhoo, good to see you guys got out and had some fun. I managed to get all the dishes done and vacuum the house! Damn, Im becoming house trained.

Yep it was finally good to meet TonyB and damn, I only just realised he knows where I live Thats ok, I'll just stalk him until he gives in and tells me

Must be something with Guzzi riders getting lost. I seem the hear it all the time Anyway, how did the bike go dangerous?

Well, after a few weeks I should be able to join you all on the ride.

Hey Tony don't sweat the small stuff. There were lots of those who arrived before you whom I had not met before. So for me anyhow it was a chance to chat to some new KBers (well new to me) and make rude comments about Dangerous' guzzi.

Glad to see you made it. Not easy balancing the needs of the family and having a blast once in a while. Although reading your other thread it would seem you got thru the "late" return home OK.

Part of my peculiar psychological makeup is that I HATE being late for ANYTHING. Having 17 people stand around and wait for me is not my cup of tea. Maybe that's why I ride a sprots bike?

I survived the late return- barely. I can do the ride on t'other thread because MrsB will be at work and the kids (hopefully) at preschool.

And yep, balancing family/ riding/ racing/ working on old bikes/ new business/ work is not easy, as I'm sure heaps of peeps here know all too well. MrsB and I have been discussing this this morning.

Thank you everyone for a good ride. Even if we ended up at the Oxford first. Old habits die hard!
Thankyou for waiting for us, too, I worked split shifts yesterday. (as usual).
Thanks Aaron for keeping an out for me to make sure I managed to get the tractor around the hill & for putting up with a slow ride.

lemans & I were not our selves yesterday, & may not have been the best off company as we said good bye to our old boy Dray on Saturday.
Appreciated the distraction of the ride. Hope to meet you all again in a happier frame of mind next ride.
    Here's a pic off Dray.

No need to soften her up. She is insisting that I race. I just think maybe I need to stick around home this weekend. Plus I won't have a back protector
