But his bike is a mountainbike and isn't suitable for racing. So he's making do with a shitty old 16-inch tyred pig I borrowed off a mate. But it's not really competitive...
So Gini and I are looking for a nice small racebike for him to start with.
Looking for a smallish Haro, Mongoose or GT I guess. One of the ones with the really low seat height and the skinny tyres that weighs bugger all...
Looking to pay about $200.
Can any of you put me on to someone who has one for sale?
Cheers
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
Nah, Tim's a motorcross nut. He couldn't give a toss about any mini-R1's.
But show him a Husky Boy and he goes all silly...

Fair enough. Not everyone likes them. I don't particularly like them although I think they are a lot of fun. I'll stick with buckets until I get a lisence...
Peace hath higher tests of manhood than battle ever knew.
Well at the moment I'm riding a Diamondback Ignitor or something that I "borrowed" from Alarumba , and my friend is riding a K2 that he picked off Trademe for $180 or something. It's sturdy as hell but not as easy to bunnyhop as the Diamondback. BMXs are awesome though! Was riding them all day today... Oaw, my back.
