WTB: 250cc 2 or 4 stroke road bike.

    Hey all. :spudwave:

Well I have sold my CBR400rr and brought a car, however I feel I need to ride again (always happens after selling a bike) so I thought I would get a 250cc bike so I can get my restricted licence then my full.

So does any one know of some one selling either a 2 stroker or 4 stroke. I am looking into a Kawasaki KR-1 at the mo, also RGVs seem to be taking my fancy but anything suggested will be noted.

    Thanks in advance.

got my 1990 ZXR250A, 50K on the clock, will only need cam chain tensioner done to keep it going in the long term at the moment.

Fairings are getting professionally plastic welded this weekend are going in for new paint next week so the bike will be looking mint cosmetically (except for having a green rim on the back)

I have just put in a new second hand shock in the rear.

Has a MASSERT carbon fibre straight through race can on it. (sounds and looks nice)

Other than that it has 2mths rego left and is on one year WOF's.

Will need a new rear tyre in the near future.

    Asking price is $3750

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Might have an '87 NSR 250 for sale shortly. She aint pretty, I'll be fixin' all the fairings but not worried about paint, but mechanically fantastic. Was just re VIN'd at the end of last year so chassis is superb, then guy seized the engine mid this year. I bought it with the seized engine and have just put in another engine that had 24000k's on it, rebuilt 300k's ago, which has a broken front engine mount on the case but custom underslung thing will be on it shortly. And I just swapped the clutch plates over, think they're all still fine though, I'm just nubian at adjusting the cable possibly. But yeah, spare engine still good for parts with it.

Not sure if I want to sell, will hold it a while and make sure it's all good and might end up keeping it for some racing experience, but would look for around $1600 if I did sell. If you gave me $2000 it'd be all yours.

Sounds good, however I'm looking for a bike around $1500 tp $2500. Should have put that in the first post. I would love your bike but I cant justify spending $3750 on a bike that I will only use for around a year.

Sounds good...could you send me some pictures (jarmizz@hotmail.com) or post them up....I would be keen on a NSR...if you send me pictures so I can see what she looks like and then we can go from there....if you do want to sell.
