    Ride Forever Motorcycle Show

Is anyone here going to this show in Auckland on 13/14 August?
I found accommodation in Howick so will be moving from Aus 1st Auhust.
Won't be bringing any of my bikes from Aus so looking for maybe a beach cruiser/scrambler style bike for laps around the place.
Would love to meet up with anyone there.

    NZ Motorcycle Show?

Another case of Auckland arrogance. It's the Auckland Motorcycle Show.

    Auckland doesn't own the country.

To be fair, Invercargill has the crown as the motorcycle place just now. Bill Richardsons Transport Museum and the Burt Munro nail it for me.

Went to bike show today, mix of Classic, Custom, Trade stands, club Stands, Wheel Stands and Motorcycle distributors.

Looking at the bikes parked up you would think Harleys are the most common/popular bike.

Probably the most variety of new bikes I've ever seen, three American bike companies, some cool Enfields,Ducati, Triumphs, BMW's Guzzi, and

    the Big 4 from Japan.

Why would you run this in the middle of winter?

    Does Auckland have a winter?

Because the bike sales are slow at this time of year and the trade wants a boost. Way I see it if I want to look at bikes I can go to bike shops for free.

And no we dont, I travelled to National Park to have my 2 days of winter this year.

Was out last Monday night and the car temp gauge said it was 4 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guy at work regaled us with how he had 'white stuff' on his windscreen one morning.

Well worth $20 as I no longer can be arsed going to bike shops as the traffic is so bad, anyway only have eyes for the Thruxton R at the moment....R9T a distant second.... Ducati

Scramber could be fun to commute on.

Traditional mystery meat batterer sausage on stick with chips is also a show thing, they are in a food time warp there ( other than charging $4 for a small drink)
