2016 VMCC Bridgestone Motorcycle Racing Series
(Subject to the appropriate MNZ permits being issued).

Welcome to the home of the 4 round VMCC Bridgestone Motorcycle Racing Series held at Manfeild, starting in May and ending in September.

The dates for the 2016 series are as follows:

Round One: Saturday 30th April (track day) – Sunday 1st May (race day)
    Round Two: Sunday 12th June
    Round Three: Saturday 13th August
    Round Four: Saturday 17th September

The change in race format for 2015 was a roaring success and provided amazing value for money with closer racing across the classes and significantly more time on track. As a result it was all smiles and happy faces across the paddock so we’re running the same format again this year. This year is even better value for money though, especially if you’re interested in entering multiple bikes.

Thanks to all our sponsors there will be many prizes and awards all across the classes again this year so get your entries in quick for your chance of winning one or more of the many coveted titles!

Prices for Junior class riders have been dropped: $40 (free transponder for those under 18yo)
So find a junior class rider and get them out there.
    Intermediate lites
    Development (including F4)
    250 production
    250 Clubmans junior.

One minor change that might catch you out this year...

Almost a complete new committee supporting this year, so a few admin changes.

Entry and payment needs to be made 10 days before the round (any later and you will incur a $40 late fee).

    volunteers and mentors are needed
So if you like to support the riders either on track as a Flaggy or as mentor to a new or junior rider; please contact the club.

    Round One.

    Massive Manawatu Weekend.

Weather played ball all weekend, while there were a few spills; there were plenty of tired smiling bods at the end of today.

Good number of entries and great battles throughout all the classes.

All the action will be on Ctas with the gentle voice of Spyda...

As per normal; if you where there and have feedback - please email the committee via the website.
We want to know your reactions and thoughts.

I did the track day on Saturday. What a well run day with very few incidents. No waiting around on the dummy grid at all. Thank You very much to the VIc club and their tireless volunteers for putting on such a good day

Well done Sloan Frost, i went and asked him if he could go a little quicker as he was 60 thousnads of a second off the F1 lap record, he did and posted a new formula one lap record of, 1.05.375
i went and congratulated him and then he packed up and went home, the outright lap record was just 32 thou quicker which is the superbike lap record, dunno whether he knew that as he may have got that too. Shane richardson went with about 80 thou of F2 one, but his tyre wasn't up to a better time.
Big scalps to score on a mis year meeting i reckon

Hey Spider, just watched the video back. Thanks for the commentary and giving me a bit of a carrot to chase. Was a great weekend, most fun I have had in a while. VMCC did really well to get through so many races and they seem to be well organised. The guy on the pit call ups was a bit of a legend

The online entry works so well that even I was able to use it without swearing at/assaulting the lap top.
