ah well, at least it would be damn entertaining for the rest of us

So how does a new KB'er meet up with you other guys and gals? The user names aint gonna mean diddly squat to me over there and I'd like to put a few faces to names and have a bourbon or 2 with ya'll

A mate and I are heading over tomorrow afternoon to stay with another mate near Greymouth, then off to the rally around 10 or 11ish to set up camp before heading straight back out for a day ride to Lake Kaniere, Hokitika Gorge sort of area and back to the rally later in the afternoon to settle in for the fun

I'll be on a blue Suz DR650, and my mate's on a red Kwaka KLR650. Let me know how to find ya. I know Feral and it sounds like he knows a few of you so I can get him to point a couple of you out

Look for a bunch of degenerate, no-hoper, can't-handle-their-piss-white-boys(n girls), nah hang on - that'll be half the rally goers - look for a fugly ginga who'll be in bed by 7:30pm, or a crazed stringbean of a fulla with a skull mask and a funny accent who'll be attempting an impression of your average unlawful citizen...

Dang! you mean there's ANOTHER dude wearing a skull mask etc going to the rally? and with a funny accent?

Well far queue old chap, look for a skull mask wearing chap that is sophisticated, suave and very eloquent, who is also polite and shuns profanity in conversation - that fellow will be me, steer clear of the bounder that Manuboy mentioned, sounds like nothing but trouble what!?

Can you make sure you've raked up all the cow / sheep shit in the second (camping) paddock - i almost canned it last year spinning it up on a few choice droppings on the way out (and the guy on the harley did). You can probably sell what you collect between a few bits of bread - passes for wild food dunnit?

Is there gonna be whitebait again!?!

p.s yeah scum - sophisticated and elegant - thats the exact words i that popped into my head last year when chatting with ya...
