Yeah just got it running again on wedensday so I think that trip well and truley ran it in!

Yeah we had 3 people on it, cruising around to get a feed.

It was parked next to a lime green KR250 for a while, there was kate on the black RGV250, matt on the blue rather fancy RGV250, there was ben on the black TZR250, and ben on the KR250, all 2 stroke! Way to go! Then there was dan and leanne on the GPZ550 and me on the CG110/125.

So when is the next ride on? I'm keen to go for a blat, as long as it's twisty as, cos thats where the CG does best, is real crappy on straight lines, tops out at a not very fast speed, but loves to be chucked around the corners!

The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?

Stayed at Okarito friday night , 2 bus loads of european chicks camped there as well. Best rally I been to Feral . Top job done by every one. It was a long hot trip home. Cheers Toddy

I finally arrived home about 9.30.
Hot enough to boil a monkey's bum - especially coming through the Haast.
Good to catch up with everyone again and get my dose of abuse from ZZR, my store from the Glenorchy rally was starting to run out!

I haven't yet been told about the KB curfew but it seems to be about sunset!

Nice picture of my bike Rashika, it ran like a dream all weekend but I'm thinking of replacing the seat with a piece of 4 x 2 for a bit more comfort!
There was another guy on an identical bike and we came across each other just as we came up to the turn-off to the site. We were so busy checking each other out we both missed the turn-off.

Absolutely top rally, congratulations guys and cheers for the yarn Feral!

Yep, another top weekend. Good to catch up with everybody again.

Rashika, what happened to you down Old West Coast Road? You were following me one moment then the next gone. I turned around and there was no sign of you.

woops...shoulda mentioned that I might pop into my mates place along there.
Didn't know you were there till you passed, I stopped just a few minutes after that. I can never quite pick where her place is, so have to slow for a bit to find it.
...but nice to know you cared dude

I saw you arriving and meant to come over for a chat but got waylayed, would have been good to meet another KB'er I'll catch up with you at the March Hare if you're going to it. A couple of us will be going for day ride into the back blocks somewhere if you to come along.

You've got some great photos on that website too. The U.S. trip must have been awesome, although you must have had a sore arse after 43,000km on the DR - that's around 360km per day every day on the bloody hard DR seat.

Still sorry to have missed on what sounded like a great rally - next year. Saw sonny Jimmie (aka Dan in Tyger Tung's posting) when he got home last night, but he didn't even wait for sundown to hit the hay - said somehting about a headache.

I have seen the sore seat answer for you IDB. When passing through Opotiki a few years back we sidled into the Tuhoi Embassy - well worth a stop. On sale there was a "Royal pain in the arse chair" that seat of which consisted of jagged broken pieces of wood. Would suit the Duc but it had a price tag of something like $1500. Also, could probably think up more abuse from Glenorchy. Just let me know when you need another dose.

What was the back pocket damage D? Did the detector not pick it up in time?

Nice pics! Wish I could have been there. Unfortunately the bike was a no-goer... Picking up a new S/H engine today... should be on the road in a couple of weeks
