    Hi All,

THANKS for coming around; ids, zzr, dangerous, scumdog, toddy, suziq, rashika, manu and while I didn't meet you: Tygerlung - cheers by the way to you mate Matt for the entertainment on Sunday , morning when he threw his RGV away - highsided on the way to the exit tent - right in front of the boys sitting on the couch - good humour...
Also, if you were the bloke trying to wheelie that bike all saturday afternoon - that was also good entertainment - cheers.

Had a great time at the rally - hope you all did too. Apologies for not quite having the time to have a good chat and drinking session with some of you. I ran into some of you on the saturday night, while I was busy settinging up the explosions for the tank battle and had to excuse my self after a quick chat as I was in the middle of heading places. At the March Hare, hope to catch up and not be busy organising.

Great photos everyone. I didn't take many myself. however a mate got a good picture of me when Evan Brichfield and I were shifting his tank from one paddock along the access road into another paddock ready for the heavy lift tranpsorter home on Sunday avo. I will post it as when he emails it. Having a sit in the tank was an eye opener - this thing still has got everything in it - from the laser sights to the nuclear apocolyps filteration system - pretty cool. Turning on the road during the hot Sunday sun made a real mess of the tarseal tho - was awesome to see.

    Untill the march hare all.

Cheers again - hope you enjoyed what the club put on - we'll do it again next year.

Yeah that was funny matt trying to show off on his way out and dropping the bike, I thought that was a great laugh, me and ben left a bit later.

My bike was running real arse on saturday, I was playing around with the carb, trying to get it running a bit better, but found the problem on sunday, runs much better now, wheelies real easy as you'll see in my posting about my accident in the general section.

Was a great weekend for sure, will definatly be going next year.

Well, got home O.K., rode out from Maruia Springs and realise not enough gas to get to Hamner!
And had gone through Springs Junction the night before and hadn't bothered to top up!:slap:
So back to Springs Junction for gas then off towards the east, stopped at Culverden for smoko - saw a nice puple 2000 Superglide Sport - my next type of scoot if all goes well.
Scuttled around Ch-ch to avoid getting tangled with any of the rabble from there and shot off down Thompsons Track at Rakia, shee-it did that wind blow for the whole length of the track - riding at about 45 degree angle the whole time!
Had a handle a Mayfield, gassed up at Geraldine, cruised on up to High Country Motorcycles and had a look - some cool rides there including a 100 inch Buell (eat you heart out Rashika! oh, by the way dropped your name there, will I score social points for doing so?).
Spent the night at friends (yes I do have some!) in Twizel - he's getting a brand new Heritage so he's joining the 'clan'.
Headed off for home, got fuel at Cromill and had a cuppa then off for home, got here safe'n'sound, had done something like 1980km since Friday, met some great people and rode some great roads, narrowed my chicken strips to nil - and never got pulled over once!!!

BTW Manuboy, nice to see you posted a pic of the elite Southern KBers - me HondaV2 and idb in pic 6 on post #121, very nice profile of us all and don't we look sharp!!!!

Oh, and the best part? It never rained one drop throughout the whole trip!! (But them West Coast dragonflys would likely tear you leg off if you hit one)

Bloody hell, I didn't even recognise myself!
No wonder the chicks are so contented in the South Island with profiles like those on offer eh?

Sounds like a good trip SD.
See you for sure at the March Hare.
If anyone wants to catch up on the way through we could organise something.

Notice my dancing style? No wonder I score a different chick at each rally!
Paris Hilton was most pissed-off (her words) that I would be unavailable for the March Hare, however C.B. is going to accompany me to the Vincent.

I know, it worked well - and all these others thought it was just a gimmick, there's more to those items than meets the eye (or radar as the case may be)!

Just home from the Musclecar Madness about an hour or so ago - and again no tickets!

Nonsense! "Witness 'A' " assured me it was NOT 'sustained"

(MInd you, the thought of an unseen plod lurking nearby created a lot of restraint in this 'incident')
