    I did have a tail plate off a custom I bought on tardme for a dollar a year ago also when I was buying bits to make a trailer although it could have been made also.
    Im not sure what a small sheet of 5mm ally is worth to buy but I don't think it would be a lot.

    Once you have "found" your alloy, its easy. Do you have a givi rack on the bike?

    L brackets, yes. Took the frame off to put on top box frame.
    Only little stubby ones not the usual hockey puck type.
