    Lawn mower in Auckland

Anyone in southish Auckland (I'm gonna be in Papakura) have a Lawn mower and weed eater I could borrow this weekend? If the weather isn't crap all week (and maybe if it is) I'm gonna have a lawn that I want to cut but since I'll be comming up on my bike there isn't anyway I can carry my own tools.

May also need help transporting it but can help with gas if needs be for that. Gonna try to set something else up for that though.

    Cheers in advance.

I'm probably a bit out the way...but I do have a cage and a 2-stroke lawnmower that handles most of what is thrown at it...Happy to share. PM me if you don't get any better offers...

Yes Gremling I will be at Ms.Pillion's place this weekend. Her backyard is in desperate need of mowing, the grass comes up to my knees and I'm 6 foot 2 inches!!

Havn't had much experiance with 2-stroke lawnmowers but pleantly of weed eaters that were. Shouldn't be a problem. If I don't get any offers that are closer I'll chuck ya a Pm on thursday Phurrball.

With a lawn that high, you are probably best weed eating it first to get down to a manageable height, otherwise the mower will probably just die.

Not hard to manage a lawnmower, start and cut grass, back it off a bit when emptying...

If the lawn is that high, you might not even bother with a catcher, otherwise you will need a lot of bags.

Mate I know how to mow a lawn. Been doin it since I was seven and even funded an airline flight fro Dallas to San Diego and back one summer. Just don't like useing two strokes cause I never get the oil fuel mixture right.

My lawn here was up to my waist when I moved in and I cut that all down with the lawn mower. Just tilt the front end up a bit to keep it fro bogging down then go over everything again. My mower is a mulcher though so might not work. I'll figure it out I just need to tools lol.

Lol if there is one thing I have heaps of experiance with it's mowing lawns. Hell I would even go back to doing that for some extra cash but I have no way to get the mower around town anymore.

Although I could tie it to the back of my bike..... hmm.....

    Lol

That reminds me. As added incentive for letting me borrow the lawn tools I could even do the owners lawn if it's not to big. (I would like to spend SOME tie with Ms.Pillion this weekend.)

    Hey Jake

You can borrow my lawnmower if you like - I'm in Papakura. Got a weedeater thingee as well which runs on eletrickery - don't have an outside extension cord tho cos a flatmate stole it. You're welcome to borrow both, and you can do my lawns if you like and have the time, but not a neccessity!!
