$190 for a gear change lever?

I had a small run in with an SUV and the foot peg got broke off the gear change lever. I've been quoted $190 for a new one. Does this sound reasonable or should I look elsewhere?

Depends what it's for. Rare bike with custom modelling?

It only really has to match your point of connection, aftermarket ones are available for many models.
E.g most Suzuki will fit most suzuki, although some won't clear the case etc.
Emgo and DRC both make a variety of after market ones.

Is the $190 for a gear change lever ... or a gear change lever assembly ... ???

Just the lever. I picked it up for $150. I phoned a couple of places about an EMGO part but they only stock off road.

Meh - shit costs money. Avoid cars.

Drop your coin on a set of rearsets.

To replace the entire foot assembly on my K2, bracket, peg and lever was going to cost over $500 from Suzuki. Bought a pair of Crescent Suzuki rearsets off a member here for $500. Was a no brainer.

    2007 GSX-R750. I've already brought one for $150.
