    My Beast... ZZR 1100 D1

This is my Bumble Bee Beast after a make-over:

And for those that are not farmiliar with the ZZR1100

    Cost of Bike $2,600
New Tyres $ 600 (Michelin Pilot Road 4 GTs)
    New Fairing $1,000 (fitted)
    New Chain & Sprocket $ 400
    Service and misc $ 500

Total $5,100 to get ready for summer

Now I consider that cheap bang for the buck!

Distinctive. Great bikes. Always wanted one. Never had means motive and opportunity at the same time.

I had the zx10 that came before the zzr1100. Was a great bike for doing trips on. Nice smooth power.

Are they a aftermarket pre-painted fairing kit?

My fave ZZR colour scheme was the purple and gold - but I'd have any colour.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

    Nice.
I had one and remember it fondly as it never failed to give as much as I wanted with more in reserve.

    Have fun!

[SIZE=6]Great bikes the D3 I had was one bike I never found the top speed out of.
These bikes will go up in a few years as they get harder to find .To much power for the bobber boys so they won't get there hands on them for hacking up.

I remember them coming out, was the first bike I had seen in the flesh with such a huge rear tyre! They just look ordinary now, funny how your perspective changes...
