L-Plate Rider
I have a particular request - I am looking for a motorcycle with a particular engine configuration and as I am not an avid follower of newer machines as you can see from the ones I currently own, i need your help to find an engine with the following characteristics:
3 - 4 cylinder in line (not V)
600 - 1000 cc
water or liquid cooled
Fuel injected
Cylinder block that detaches from the crankcase (early Hondas were like this - not sure when they stopped)
Low personal B.M.E.P.
The problem with your needs is that most manufacturers went to nicasil barrel linings - and integral barrel/top case - at or around the same time they went to fuel injection.
hayabusa is one of the few separate barrel motors I can think of - but it's too big ?
