Access to Riverhead forest

I'm keen to try riding at riverhead instead of paying $30 every time I go to wood hill, but I'm not sure where the entrance is. Can someone point it out for me please? Also, do you need a permit to ride there? Thanks for any help.

My understanding is you can only go in with the WMCC on club days.

if you get caught riding in the forest you will be trespassed unless its a WMCC ride. Whats wrong with paying the $30? theres also the option of heading up to Leightons farm in south head, but I think that is just sand moto track, I'm not sure that your allowed to ride the forest area, unless its at an event there
