Well I'm dropping my first ever vote on the finance guy who tore the long term plan apart and laid it bare for everyone to see. Not that he'll get in for displaying such honesty, but he fuckin deserves it for being straight up. Some do wear some nice shiny clothes and have nice shiny smiles and nice shiny dispositions... but I fought against it. Oh, and a vote for me too, ha!

Actually i was tempted to vote for him last time round, until it got all weird.

Hope the civilian party are back next time, donald trump and his mexican wall is a straight rip off of their policy to build a wall around hamilton and make hamilton pay for it.

Run for Council. Once the lights go down and it's just the candidates left, you quickly find out why people are running. My fave from the other night was listening to 2 candidates discussing the financial situation of Porirua. One left the argument with "I don't care", WTF?... which was swiftly followed up by me asking a question that was to be taken on an economic basis alone, only to be met with, "that's illegal", along with, "It's not Councils responsibility". Oh the lols. Some people need a job.

I made that mistake only once or twice when i went to north canterbury... then learnt it was best to say you grew up in hamilton.

Hey....if it were not for us you would still be drinking Kona coffee and sausage rolls when you go out

Back in the day when you could drive everywhere with bugger all traffic, they crossed leased land and said " you need this to be a world class city", traffic got worse so they made bus lanes that made it worse " you need this be world class city", more people arrived..." you need more people to make public transport viable and to be a world class city".

Whilst driving across town the other evening it took me 50 minutes to do what was once a 15 minute drive and I thanked them for delivering " a world class city"
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

Oh he's Fab-you-lous! I considered voting for him as just the comedy. Imagine JK etc having to shmooze up to him to help retain balance of power and squirming having to broker a deal with, well whatever rabbits populate CCs brain cavity.
