Converting a road bike into a race bike

Anyone thinking of building up a 250ss or 400 Formula 3 bike.
Jap import bikes have speed and rev limiters built into them.
Before you can race your bike you'll need to get these removed -otherwise top speed and top RPM in the top gears will never be reached. -you'll top out at 180km/h
For some models you can just buy a little box that plugs in and overrides that restriction with some you can solder a resister in that solves the problem.
After you've dont that you'll probably need to rejet the carbs. Carburation has usually been set up not for maximum power but for good power and to pass emission control laws.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
